Interior shades help to keep out the heat and cool from the outside, and keep in your climate to make running the AC or Heater that much more efficient. This works in concert with solar and other charging means to extend the time away from the dock as well as improve comfort. We have noted approximately a 15 degree F temperature difference using Vanmade Gear Shades vs the factory window canvas and no hatch and skylight covers.
