Pedalbox: Enhanced Acceleration, Entirely Unrestricted Configuration:
Throttle response has less to do with how much power a vehicle has but rather how long it needs to fully release this power, with petrol engines frequently performing better here than diesel ones in this regard. Usually, a naturally aspirated engine is more powerful than a compressor or a turbocharger, a fact which is however not often noticed as the cars are given different response times by the manufacturer. But even when the same engine types are compared, ultimately a difference in response will be determined, as there are a wide range of factors that influence the response of an engine. The throttle response of a stick-shift or a semi-automatic car can be easily enhanced simply by changing gears – in the case of a small car trying to overtake another car for instance, by moving from 5th to 4th gear. Most vehicles are equipped with a drive-by-wire system. Here, acceleration is achieved by way of an electric signal and not by the familiar Bowden cable, something that most people are not aware of. This system is called ETC or ECM. The problem is that these systems often suffer from a significant signal delay, which the Pedalbox can compensate for perfectly. This means that more energy is available to the car once again.

Enjoy the interior of your vehicle as it is, without having to install any disrupting switched or the likes. The Pedalbox can be stored behind the cabin lining and hidden from plain sight.
The Pedalbox includes a memory feature. This means, that the last chosen setting will remain activated until a new setting is chosen. Even when your battery is disconnected, the settings remain saved.

The Pedalbox is installed with a few easy steps: Just connect the Pedalbox connectors with your vehicle’s accelerator pedal. After its installation the Pedalbox is instantly ready to use.

Note:
Use caution to never install, or remove the Pedalbox with the key on, or the ignition powered on. Before installing, switch off the ignition and wait 10 minutes for the vehicles electrical system to shut down completely. During this time, don’t open, or close doors, this will trigger the power system back on and cause a fault code. If you accidentally install with the power still active, clear the fault code via an OBD2 code reader and start the install procedure again with the vehicle’s
electrical system shut down completely.
For most cars, trucks and suv’s the connection for the Pedalbox is located near the gas pedal. During the installation use caution that the Pedalbox and cable are not interfering with the functionality of the gas pedal, or the steering column and are properly secured. Do not cut, shorten, or modify the wiring on the Pedalbox. Any modifications, or alterations will void the warranty of the Pedalbox.
