Dual rear wheels substantially limit off-road performance due to limited tire size and their affinity for trapping rocks in between wheels (causing sidewall puncture).

In basic terms, the offset of a wheel is how much it sticks out of the side of the van. By having a wheel with a lower offset, you widen the track of your van, making it more stable and less prone to tipping. This is an advantage when off-roading in a tall vehicle like a Sprinter Van. Owl designed the Talon Super Single wheel specifically for the Ekko's wider body. Therefore, the wheel fills the wheel well and increases off-road performance!

Owl has taken the time and pain out of deflating your tires for off-road use! include with the Talon SS wheels is a second valve stem, which can be outfitted with rapid deflate valves. This second valve stem allows you to run the factory TPMS (tire pressure monitors) and an Apex quick air dump system.

Run Larger Tires:
Typically a dually will limit the size of the tire you can run because they will come in contact with each other. By moving to a Super Single, you are able to increase your tire size all the way up to a 35" tire. Larger tires mean more ground clearance and a smoother ride.

Increased Load Capacity:
Modern Sprinter dually builds are HEAVY. The Talon super single is built to be lightweight AND be able to handle an increased load-carrying capacity of the rear wheel up to 4600lbs each.

Unique Spare:
With Super Single wheel sets, it can be complicated to carry a spare due to the fact the front and rear wheels are different. Due to this difference, Owl has specifically designed a spare that can be used on the front and back, allowing you to carry one full sized spare.
