Important: The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). All 2020+ Revels should have been built with this option but please confirm by sending us your vin or consulting with your installer.
One of the biggest pain points with a built-out Sprinter is the undersized fuel tank. The whole point of an adventure van is to get off the beaten path. The problem is that every adventure seems to include constant fuel stops. Additionally, vans need more than 1/3 of a tank diesel for the heating system to run properly.
This replacement fuel tank will work with the Winnebago Revel (2020+ Chassis). With this larger fuel tank, you'll be able to get out and stay out longer, giving you more time to explore.
S&B Tanks are high-capacity direct replacements for the OE fuel tank. Allowing for almost double the fuel capacity, so you can go further and not waste time at the pumps. Let us fuel your adventure.
Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain accurate thanks to S&B’s tank design. From full to empty you will always know how much fuel is in your tank. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank(47 gallons), you will have 940 miles to empty but your vehicle will show you have 480 miles to empty.

Some builds can have additional tanks like gray water etc and these might make installation of the tank more difficult or impossible. Please be sure to check under your van before ordering. Returns for vans due to aftermarket equipment will be the responsibility of the customer.
PLUG AND PLAY INSTALLATION
The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 24-gallon tank and replace it with our 40-gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location with an additional rear strap. The tank occupies the space forward and rearward of the original tank and does not stick out anymore toward the driver's side than the original tank.
YOUR FUEL GAUGE WORKS AS NORMAL.
Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain accurate thanks to S&B’s tank design. The gauge will stay on full for the first 5-7 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity. For example, @ 20mpg and a full tank (40 gallons), you will have 800 miles to empty but your vehicle will show you have 480 miles to empty.
