Beat the dark with versatility. The rechargeable TX17R, ideal for dynamic beam control in the medium-to-long range, flexes the full capabilities of the COAST PURE BEAM® system—delivering seamless transitions between Ultra View Flood Beam and BULLS-EYE™ Spot Beam. Maxing out at 1250 lumens with a 234-meter (767-foot) beam, this three-mode flashlight (medium, high, low) is just under 6 inches long and fitted with a reversible pocket clip to make it the ultimate carry-everywhere, do-anything lighting solution. Control the beam shape with subtle pushes and pulls using the SLIDE FOCUS® system, or simply twist the bezel to set the beam where you like it with the BEAM LOCK®. To support hands-free operation, the anti-roll bezel prevents the flashlight from moving when placed on uneven surfaces. From full power, the TX17R can run up to 21 hours on low and then recharges via USB-C. The COAST Rechargeable Plus system allows the flashlight to run on its ZITHION-X™ ZX850 lithium battery or on two CR123 disposable lithium batteries (purchased separately) for added convenience. Machined from solid aluminum, the TX17R is built to IP54 specifications for water resistance and dust resistance and is backed by the COAST lifetime warranty. 

Beam Lock:
Set the beam to stay how you like it. COAST BEAM LOCK® technology makes our SLIDE FOCUS® system even more valuable, with the option to lock the beam in place on spot, flood, or anywhere in between. Twisting the head of the light to the left locks the beam in place, and twisting it back to the right releases the slide mechanism back into motion.

High-Medium-Low:
Control your light power with the push of a button. Cycle between full light, medium light and low light options.

Pro-Tek Charging:

The Ultra View Flood beam delivers edge-to-edge clarity in a broad circle, and the BULLS-EYE™ Spot Beam sends a sharp ray of light at a distance with a transitional halo around the spot to increase the effective viewing area.

Rechargeable Dual Power:
Each COAST Rechargeable-Dual Power product comes with a ported ZITHION-X™ rechargeable battery or a non-ported ZITHION™ rechargeable battery and is compatible with either COAST Extreme Performance alkaline batteries or other brand-name battery types, depending on the product. This provides you the cost savings of using rechargeable and the flexibility of reverting to alkaline.

Slide Focus:
One-handed beam control. COAST’s SLIDE FOCUS® system enables you to seamlessly transition between spot and flood beam with the push or pull your finger. Responsive beam-shape control allows you to operate your light with a single hand and keep the other hand free.
