One of the only complaints about the Tiffin Open Trail (and 2019+ Sprinters as a whole) is the small wheel well openings which are NOT conducive to running anything bigger than a 245/70/17 tire. Sizes above will rub the inner fender liners or pinch seam on the van.
Even with a Van Compass 2" Lift Kit/Suspension kit, the ability to run a larger tire is hindered without addressing the small wheel openings.
Van Compass developed a cost effective, simple solution to solve this problem. The Big Tire Mudflap Bracket Kit allows fitment of up to a 35 x 12.5 x 17” tire on your Tiffin Open Trail equipped with the 2” Striker Lift Kit!
The Big Tire Mudflap Brackets are made from laser cut & CNC formed steel plate that has been powder coated for a durable, long lasting finish. Installation is simple and just requires cutting and trimming of the lower portions of the rear of the fender arches for a clean installation all while retaining the stock mudflaps for a near factory finished look.

NOTE: Vehicles equipped with Distronic / Brake Assist (AKA; Adaptive Cruise Control) can run a maximum tire size of 275/75/16 or 275/70/17. Fitment of a larger tire than that will cause the Distronic system to not function.
